We retired the old "Featured" tier where contributors could buy premium placement. Every contributor now starts equal. Where you land is determined entirely by how many opt-ins you send — not how much you spend.
The four tiers
Where you land depends on what you send
After Day 3, your opt-in count determines your tier. Rankings update automatically.

Image and description visible. Strong placement, solid exposure.

Gift title, contributor name, and access button. No image. No description.

The system is automatic. You focus on promoting — we handle the rest.
Days 1–3
Everyone starts in Gold
All contributors open at Gold tier. Initial order within Gold is based on list size — larger lists appear higher while the giveaway warms up.
Day 3
Rankings activate
On Day 3, the system evaluates opt-ins sent by each contributor and assigns tiers accordingly. Rankings update automatically from this point forward.
Days 3–Close
Effort drives movement
As contributors send more opt-ins, they move up within their tier and can break into higher tiers. Opt-ins only accumulate — they never retract.
Final Day
Top 5 get the spotlight
The final reminder email sent to all subscribers names the top 5 contributors and highlights their gifts — maximum exposure for those who played full out.

A small list can outperform a bigger one
The Earned Placement System™ rewards consistency and effort — not the size of your audience. Here's what that means for you.
Promote early, rise fast
Mailing in the first 3 days is critical. Contributors who email early build an immediate lead — and when Day 3 hits and rankings activate, that head start shows up on the page.
Consistency beats size
A smaller list that emails consistently can outperform a much larger list that waits or only sends once. Frequency and timing matter more than audience size.
Within-tier ranking matters too
Inside each tier, contributors are ranked by opt-ins sent. The top Gold contributor appears above the lowest Gold contributor — so keep promoting.
No ceiling on movement
Once you hit a tier threshold, you stay there — opt-ins only accumulate. Hit 100 and you're Platinum for the rest of the giveaway.
One thing worth knowing
Bronze is reserved for contributors who don't promote
Your placement reflects your promotion
Contributors who send 0–2 opt-ins after Day 3 move to Bronze — a single-line listing at the bottom of the page with no image and no description. You'll still get leads, just fewer of them. That's fair — your spot on the page matches what you put in.
